LuLaRoe From A to Z : The Cassie Skirt

The LuLaRoe Cassie skirt is the most comfortable and flattering pencil skirt EVER!  The Cassie has a thick yoga waistband for comfort and the skirt is made from stretchy Liverpool fabric.  The Cassie accentuates your curves in all the right places. My first LuLaRoe purchase was a green and black striped Cassie skirt and it is still one of my favorite pieces in my wardrobe.  The timeless classic pencil skirt silhouette is a great staple piece for your wardrobe and can easily transition from weekend casual to workday attire.

The LuLaRoe Cassie skirt is a skirt you will easily fall in love with.  One of my favorite ways to wear the Cassie is with a simple t-shirt and sneakers for a fun, comfortable, and stylish look. Here, I am wearing a LuLaRoe Perfect Tee and a fun Aztec print Cassie skirt.  I love the flattering swing of the Perfect over the  form fitting skirt.

For a more polished and professional wear to work  look, I trade in my sneakers and graphic tees for a Carly or blouse.  Add boots and a necklace and you are work day ready! Here, I am wearing a LuLaRoe Cassie skirt paired with a knotted LuLaRoe Carly dress and a sweater knit LuLaRoe Shirley kimono.

 

 

 

Cassie Out and About

The Cassie skirt is also perfect for a night out to dinner or for date night.  Take your favorite LuLaRoe Cassie and pair it with a fitted top, heels, and add some sparkle. Now you are ready for an evening of fun!  Here, I am wearing an Elegant Collection Cassie with gold foil,  a black LuLaRoe Perfect Tee (which is NOT fitted) and a black LuLaRoe Sarah cardigan.

 

The Cassie Skirt Is For Everyone…Really!

I have a few words of advice about the Cassie Skirt.  Do not shy away from the words “pencil skirt”,  keep an open mind and you may be surprised!  I have had several customers swear they will never wear a pencil skirt and reluctantly try one on.  Guess what happens??? More often than not, they leave with a bag full of Cassie skirts!  The Cassie is perfect for the weekend, the work week, and a night out on the town.  Whichever way you wear your Cassie, you will feel amazing!

LuLaRoe From A to Z: The Carly Dress

The LuLaRoe Carly is one of the most versatile dresses in the LuLaRoe style line up.   The Carly swing dress has a high-low hemline,   a “boyfriend” sleeve, and some Carly dresses have a patch pocket.  This dress has a generous cut which provides a great swing/flow to the garment.   I am * almost* embarrassed to admit how many Carly dresses I own (20+) but it is such a great dress for all seasons to wear to work, to play, and everything in between.  The Carly comes in a variety of prints and fabrics and is $55. Sizes run from XXS to XXXL.

The Carly is my go to dress for comfort, ease, and style.  On the weekends, I love to put on my favorite Carly with  a pair leggings and converse. In the warmer weather you can simply put on your Carly and shoes and you are ready for brunch, errands, or a day at the park!  Here, I am wearing my favorite black and pink micro stripe LuLaRoe Carly with a fun pair of LuLaRoe leggings and my unicorn Converse shoes.  I feel stylish and comfortable for a morning full of errands.

Teacher, mother, lawyer, maid, laundress, chef…whatever your job title(s) may be, the LuLaRoe Carly is the comfortable dress you have been waiting for.  During my teaching days, I would wear a Carly with a layering piece, leggings, and booties to head off to school looking put together, professional, and more importantly feeling comfortable and confident.   Here, I am wearing a LuLaRoe Carly, a LuLaRoe Sarah, and some tall boots.  Some days I add a skinny belt to cinch in my waist and add a little more of a tailored look to my outfit.

The LuLaRoe Carly is also an excellent choice for special events/occasions.   I love pairing a solid black Carly with some sparkly accessories and heels for a night out or a wedding.  The Carly was also a style featured during the release of the LuLaRoe Elegant line and can be found in fun fabrics like crushed velvet, metallic, glitter dipped, etc.  These special fabrics can give your outfit that extra glitz needed for a special occasion.   Here, I am wearing my gorgeous green velvet Carly with a plaid blanket scarf and plaid shoes.  A perfect outfit for a holiday party.

This week’s style focus is the flirty and fun LuLaRoe Azure skirt.  The Azure is an awesome A-line skirt that features the best of both worlds: a hint of femininity AND a yoga waistband for extra comfort.  This twirly skirt comes in a variety of colors and prints and is available in sizes XS-XXXL.  The Azure skirt is $35.  In this post I will show you  how to take a staple piece, the black Azure skirt, and go from weekend casual to work day appropriate and then to sassy night out on the town. The Azure is a great skirt choice for casual and comfortable weekend attire.  I love the Azure skirt paired with a graphic tee and some cute sneakers.  This skirt is flirty, fun, and COMFORTABLE.  I love to have a little twirl in my skirt that lets my inner sass shine.  Here, I am wearing a black LuLaRoe Azure skirt, an “I heart My Geek” graphic t-shirt, a sweater knit LuLaRoe Lindsay kimono, and my FAVORITE unicorn print Converse.  I am ready to hit the post office and the bank, but first there is Target!

 

Work Day Azure

Let’s face it, life isn’t ALL fun and play.  Sometimes you need to WORK!  The Azure will easily transition from your go to weekend skirt to your weekday work skirt.  I love the simplicity of the Azure and with a change of your top or layering piece and shoes/accessories you are now ready for the office.  I know I have said this before but I will keep saying it,  one of my favorite things about LuLaRoe is it’s versatility and the fact that you do not have to give up comfort for style.  Here, I am wearing the same black LuLaRoe Azure skirt, a black LuLaRoe Perfect Tee, and a polka dot LuLaRoe Sarah with a coordinating necklace and little black booties.  Now I am ready for a morning of meetings but first, caffeine!

The Azure skirt is the perfect addition to your date night or girls night out lineup. This skirt can easily transition from day to night with a quick change of your shirt and shoes.   Here, I am wearing the same black Azure with a bright and bold fitted LuLaRoe Gigi top, a black LuLaRoe Sarah and my pink Tieks for that extra POP of color.  I am ready for a night out on the town…I will meet you on the dance floor.

Seriously, the LuLaRoe Amelia dress is perfect for any occasion including work!  As a teacher, I LOVED the Amelia for it’s polished and professional look.   LuLaRoe makes getting dressed EASY!  Just put on an Amelia and you immediately FEEL amazing, look semi put together, and will be simply COMFORTABLE.  Wearing an Amelia is almost like wearing pajamas to work! Add a layering piece, some shoes, and a necklace and your good to go.  Just don’t forget to comb your hair!  Let’s take a moment to talk about my favorite feature of this dress, the pockets.  These hidden side seam pockets are perfect for lip gloss, your cell phone, or anything else you might need to stash away during a busy work day.  Here, I am wearing a gorgeous LuLaRoe Amelia with a LuLaRoe Lindsay Kimono, and my favorite pair of tall boots.   I am ready to slay that 12 hour workday!
